Who’s Highland Park’s Biggest Exporter?

Sunday, March 28th, 2010

With the Solo Cup Corp. joining the ranks of the departed (e.g. the bums moved to Lake Forest – so now we finally get to enjoy our finest wines out of Dixie), HP has a new face to market as their #1 exporter…who is it?

carols cookiesCarol’s Cookies.  Exporting to most states in the Union, Carol’s Cookies are enjoyed in fancy shops along Madison Avenue in NY (Vaus Haut- Chocolat at 1100 Madison Avenue sells ‘em for $5.50 each) to Shell Gas Station along Highway 41 at Park Avenue (and Skokie Valley Road for $2.25 each).

If you haven’t had a Carol’s Cookie, they’re truly a treat – if not an outright meal. Tipping the scales at just over a half a pound, it could last you a week…or a moment as is the case with most on the HP Daily Blog editorial staff.  Whatever the case, you won’t be disappointed.
