Guitar Center, located in Crossroads Center in HP, screams out power.  Nikola Tesla himself would have been mesmerized to see his electricity amping speakers that go up to 11, guitars brandishing an extra string for added uumpf, and an entire room dedicated to the unyielding, tribal pulsations of the drum.   

Guitar Center will help you take on the world. (Note:  Woodstock must have channeled some similar raw power.)

Franky, it’s an honor to have Guitar Center deem HP rockable enough to have a store.  There are only 12 Guitar Center stores in all of Illinois, which is basically saying that between music from Norton’s, Vibe, and Lincolnshire, HP at least ranks in the top twelve in terms of sheer bad-assness . 

At a minimum, Guitar Center is worth a visit.   If you’re looking to change things up for a remarkably modest price, there are few better things to consider than diddying around with a guitar and amp to channel your inner rock star – for real….

HP Movie Theater sells a 10-pass of movies for $45 – a savings of $25 off the “list” price of $7.00.  That’s quite a savings for some “almost-new” releases.  So let’s say you’re double dating and the other couple picks up the tab and you’re like “we’ll pick up the movie”.  Well, using the HP Movie Theater passbook you just dropped $9.00 on that other couple – GOOD THINKING! As our guess was that dinner was more than $4.50 a head…

Caught you in the nick of time. Phew!  Great news for those who were just about to drop a boat load of dime at the downtown HP Saks store.  If you wait until Thusday, January 14th to spend your nest egg, you’ll get back $1k for dropping $5k and $2k for dropping $10k!   That’s almost enough to cover sales tax.

So whether your lookin’ to upgrade to Amsale for your impending nuptials or you were planning on spontaneously loading up on 72 of this season’s hottest fashion trend – J-Brand jean leggings @ $138/pair – you’re better off waitin’ til Thursday to do your damage…

From 8am to Noon on the day after Xmas (Dec. 26th), Saks is taking an additional 50% off already reduced prices. (After noon – it’s 40% off)…O’Hare is reporting that people are flying back from Florida for deals like that. 

HP Daily Blog expects the Michael’s Parking Lot to be a zoo. Per the attached diagram, the Michael’s lot offers 35 marked spaces – 48 if you count the illegal spots.  At 50% off the world, it’s possible that the closest spot to Saks will be along Roger Williams.
