Editorial Note: Chicago Botanic Garden is considered an HP Outpost

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

While it’s true that the Chicago Botanical Garden (CBG) is on the wrong side of Lake Cook Road, and that HPers simply channel Sarah Palin when they “see it from their house”, the fact is that CBG is basically Cook County’s gift to Lake County – and more specifically, HPers.  That’s because as a not-for-profit, much of CBG’s burden falls not only on its members (and everyone should be a member) but also on Cook County residents.  Thank you Cook County!  To that end, HP Daily Blog consider CBG to be an official HP outpost.
